This module is to simulate the 'Active' lamp operation used on some vehicles, particularly Hondas.
In Some applications, Particularly with Electronic Power Steering (EPS) replacing the alternator can lead to the alternator charging but the battery warning lamp remaining illumated. Our ALM6001 will overcome this issue.
Simply plug the module inline with the original wiring loom and the alternator then the module will extingush the battery warning lamp as required.
